  1. I would be Anne in Jane Austen's "Persuasion". You mentioned Julie Klassen. She is one of my favourite authours. I have listened to them (audiobooks) time and again while longing for her newest to come forth. Someday when I have "oceans of time" again, I will read them. Since you mentioned her, can you suggest anyone similar to her?

    1. First of all, MY FIRST COMMENT!! You are the best! Thanks for reading and dropping by this tiny nook. Oh, yeah, Julie Klassen is pretty much one of my favorite authors, I've only read three of her books so far, but I'll read the rest when her titles are sorted out from the jar (or when I get tired and pick them myself, LOL!!). Since you asked for similar books to hers, I can recommend a few authors, although I don't know if you prefer Regency, or Historical Fiction in general. Anyway, I have some in mind for you that may be of your liking.

In Regency Fiction (Christian), you may like Sarah E. Ladd, Sarah M. Eden, Kristi Ann Hunter, Catherine Palmer, Camille Elliot, Michelle Griep, Laurie Alice Eakes, and Lori Wick (and there's more, of course). If you look for them here, https://www.fantasticfiction.com/, you'll get their books listed in the publishing order, see the blurbs, and then pick from there.

If you want just a clean, fun romance, you can also find non-christian authors, like Georgette Heyer, Julianne Donaldson, Erin Knightley, and of course, the classics, Jane Austen, Elizabeth Gaskell, and the Brontë sisters.

And if you are looking for Christian Historical Fiction (not necessarily Regency), I think Deeanne Gist, Carrie Turansky, Susan Meissner, Roseanna M. White, Siri Mitchell, Carol Cox, Lorna Seilstad and/or Tamera Alexander may be for you.

Sorry, that was a lot of information at once. But I think that you may find those authors interesting. I have a lot of them in my to-read list, but I didn't really have the time to sort out my next reading just yet.

Hope this helps you find your next reading! Please let me know how it went!

    2. Thank you. You sent a treasure trove to look into. I have heard of less than half of them so you have greatly added to my authour list. I am excited. Many Blessings!

    3. I forgot Julie Lessman, she writes Christian Historical novels, not Regency, but Edwardian, and I think Modern, too. You definitely have to check out her work, you may like it. I have her books in my list. Oh, and Christian too, I think Jessica Dotta may be for you too.
